Janney+ After Care (JAC) provides a warm, structured, and joyful end to the school day. Students enjoy a balance of outdoor play, games, creative activities, and quiet time, all supported by caring JAC staff who know them well.
Each afternoon includes snack, age-appropriate programming, and opportunities to build friendships and explore interests in a safe, supportive environment. Our goal is to offer families peace of mind and students a place to unwind, connect, and thrive after school.
The experiences and relationships students build in JAC help them move more confidently through their time at Janney and beyond.
A typical afternoon
- Dismissal pick-up from classrooms
- Snack and settle-in time
- Outdoor play and games on the playground
- Choice activities: art, blocks, board games, reading
- Quiet time for homework or independent play
- Flexible family pick-up window until 6:00 PM
